My son will be going to college at UNO, so I have been making several trips to Nebraska and I assume will be making many more. But Omaha is as far as I have gone. I don't really plan to venture much further into Nebraska.
He will probably end up marrying a Cornhusker girl and live in Nebraska and I will have to go there to visit my grandkids.
Don't forget their flippin' name...the cornhuskers...was what Iowa was before the hawkeyes...from Nebby's own site, they admit they just stole that from Iowa too!

Who the eff vacations in Nebraska?
Didn't know that stuff about their nicknames.
The most controversial game is at Nebraska on Nov. 2. The game comes down to an Iowa State drop kick that bounced once on the ground before clearing the cross bar of the goal posts. The referee rules it is not a goal and declares 10-9 Nebraska win. Iowa State appeals to the coach at Yale, rules guru Walter Camp. Camp rules the following March that the goal should have counted toward a 13-10 Iowa State victory. To this day, both teams count the game as a win.
How about the 1907 game that both teams think they won? Both schools still claim victory.

A buddy of mine that moved to Nebraska said that you see a bunch of "10's" walking around. By that he means a skinny guy that is married to a large woman, which together, they form the number 10. I laughed about that for quite awhile!

This is actually much more clever by Raygun and it took them not even 24 hours to come up with it..unlike the state of Nebraksa making Nebraska Nice that took 9 months and cost $75,000.
Further proof that the N stands for Nowledge!Heard this on the radio on the way home from work. The host poked fun at the fact they came up with this "after 9 months of research and development"

I feel your pain. I already have to go there to visit some of my grandkids. Worse, I have to go to LINCOLN to visit them. Even WORSE...they live in Lincoln because one son went over to the dark side and is now employed by UN-L.
