NCAA Screws the Little Guys (Again)

I didn't see a thread for this yet, but have to say this is one of the most ridiculous things I have seen. The NCAA cancelled the championships for winter sports in D3 because too many schools chose not to participate. Nothing like ******* over the teams and athletes that did choose to participate. And lets be honest, very few if any of these kids will use the 'free year' to come back an extra year because of the cost. The NCAA again shows it doesn't actually care about the athletes.

Maybe this hits me harder than most because my brother wrestled at that level and currently helps coach there as well. My heart goes out to these kids.

I agree with you.....it is so easy to do nothing or say no. We need a different way.

Agree. Sucks seeing these young student-athletes at any level being robbed of such a cool life experience that they can't ever get back.

exactly why not just seed who is playing/competing and go from there. there is still probably more then enough for that to still happen.
