One of these players is in the HoF and the other is not considered a serious contender to make it anymore. Please pick blindly and do not read on because there may be a few spoilers. Bonus points to anyone that can name either of the two players before I reveal them.

Player 1 - .395% 3FG%, 18.2 ppg, finished 13th and 16th in MVP voting, 108 defensive rating, 5x all star, 0 NBA championships, played 18 seasons.

Player 2 - .400% 3FG%, 18.3 ppg, finished 5th and 11th in MVP voting, 109 defensive rating, 3x all star, 1 NBA championship, played 16 seasons.

Player 1 - Reggie Miller?
Player 2 - Peja Stojakovic?
You were right about Player 1. Player 2 is Glen Rice. Rice was my favorite player as a kid and think Rice is pretty close to Miller in terms of career accomplishments. People will say that Miller deserves the HoF spot he has and some say Rice should be in and others say he doesn’t belong.

Imma guess:

Player 1: ezgif-2-de586295bf.jpg

Player 2: No idea, but I'd say 1 nat champ wins out over 0 since the other nummas are so close.

You might have a good case, but the NBA title is pretty deceiving. Being a CLEAR #3 behind two GOATs at their positions and winning a title late is not a great comparison to someone who was always the focal point of his offense.

Not to mention, Miller also was a bit slower to get his career kicked off and hung around an extra 3-4 years of injury, post-prime seasons that put a dent in the PPG stats.

They are pretty similar players, and I've always thought Rice was an underrated NBA player, and Miller was a bit overrated. Miller gets a lot of credit for some big moments that are epic playoff memories in part of an awesome era of the NBA.

Player 1:
Nice job picking that Glen Rice scab for we Cyclone fans.
To be fair, I’m from DC and had no idea as a young kid about Rice switching to Michigan super late. I didn’t even find out about how close he was to coming to ISU until after I graduated from there.

I wouldn’t say Miller was slower to get his career started. Both Miller and Rice finished top 5 in MIP voting in their third season.

That was a helluva class and we damn near had Rice and Loy Vaught.
