Just booked a concert at the Ryman in Nashville for this fall, have only flown through there a few times, would appreciate any recs on hotels? Just me and the wife, I'm kind of a hotel snob so something downtown and bougie would be ideal. TIA.

Holston House is a nice place just off Broadway near Ryman. Not terribly expensive compared to the others in the area either.

My sister is a concierge at the JW Marriott Diwntown. I thinknit is pretty nice, down in the action of Nashville.

This the one? Stayed here a couple years ago, close great location. Walking distance to everything you want while you're there. Found some kind of store the 1st night $8 for 8 Busch Tallboys. Drank those 8 each afternoon then figured out what to do after.

Food court type place close to Broadway, every place is full and the tables hard to get at meal times. But every kind of food you could want and you can skip the line if your order online. Talking 20+ places in a spot, like a food court 20yrs ago at the mall but all 20 places are full still.

Yep that is the one. My sister is a part timer, but loves it. Plus I can find good room rates with her discount.

I had a similar experience trying to find a spot that wasn’t crazy expensive but still decently located. Broadway hotels were nuts price-wise, so I ended up staying near Vanderbilt and just grabbed an Uber when needed. Funny enough, I had better luck booking 3 star hotels in Singapore—clean, affordable, and better location options. Nashville's pricing felt high for what you get unless you book way in advance.

Not a hotel recommendation but, if you like Jazz have dinner at the Skull Rainbow Room. It is off the beaten path (Printers Alley) and a Marriott Courtyard is a block away. Skull Room has an old speakeasy vibe, classy, smokey and dark, kind of naughty and feels like a step back in time to a 1930's Jazz Club. Great food. My wife and I stopped in and were able to land a couple of barstools and had dinner at the bar. The food and jazz were fantastic! They also have a burlesque show on weekends but it starts late and I think the Jazz Groups play before the show, so you can go early and avoid the burlesque of you wish.

Is the Hermitage still bougie? Been over a decade but we stayed there on a trip and it felt so damn fancy I thought they'd kick us out.
