I have zero faith in what Mo is doing.
I've been a Mo supporter up to this point, but I am starting to waiver. He's made some great moves (specifically, the bullpen overhaul in 2011 that got them to the WS). But he's also made some AWFUL moves: Ty Wigginton, Bryan Pena, Bret Cecil, Greg Holland, just to name a few. I don't know that he's signed or traded for a single player that has blown the doors off expectations. Ozuna and Fowler are probably his biggest acquisitions and they've both performed far below expectations.
My guess is that they will give the manager's job to Shildt after the season is over. They have too much invested in the staff running the team now to make a huge shift. They give Shildt 2-3 years and see what they have. If they don't get back to the playoffs as well as clean up all the fundamental problems (fielding, baserunning, etc), then I think Mo would have to be fired by that point.
