***MLB Postseason Thread***

Nor do any baseball historians - believed to have been slightly changed over decades without the user of computers to maintain... but the paper trail is blank. I like the hat better. And really, how hard would it be for ownership to say - change it so they are consistent? I think they should go with something similar to the Missouri Tigers and then start talking about how freaking good they are.

I like the hat "D" better as well.

By the way, they did introduce something similar to what you suggest about a decade ago:

detroit-tigers-logo.gif

It was used on a third jersey that they used only a couple of times and then abandoned because it was wildly unpopular - at least the jersey was. I think most fans are indifferent towards it, but it's still used in some merchandise, and TBS is using that logo in some of their graphics. I like the logo, but I sort of agree with its non-use on the uniforms.

I legitimately think me and my 88mph fastball could have success pitching against the Yankees right now. Of course at this point in my life I've turned into more of a reliever and can only throw an inning before my arm will be ready to fall off. :biglaugh:

both games in a rain delay...St. Louis game should resume soon while I'll be surprised if the Yankees game gets started soon.

Game 4 of Yankees-Tigers officially postponed until tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. And I don't think a drop of rain has officially fallen on Comerica Park yet.

The really big OCTOBER BaseBall Story in CHICAGO is Bob Brenly is leaving. Gotta love October on the northside. CARDS IN 5 !!!!
