Three Tigers return with All-America accolades on their resumes. At heavyweight, senior Mark Ellis returns after taking the NCAA crown last season. Maxwell Askren (197) placed fifth last year, but returns the Mizzou lineup as an 184-pounder for his final Tiger campaign. Fellow senior Nicholas Marable returns to 165-pounds after a seventh-place finish at the 2009 NCAA Championships.
• Two highly anticipated rematches from last year’s ISU-MU match can occur in Ames for the 2009-10 edition of the dual. No. 2-ranked Cyclone Jon Reader is set to meet fifth-ranked Tiger Marable at 165 pounds. Reader is 0-3 in his career against Marable. At heavyweight, Iowa Stater David Zabriskie could face Mizzou NCAA champion, Ellis. The Cyclone holds a 5-0 advantage over the Tiger.
