I guess we will find out tonight for sure inside Hilton.

If he's out, it takes away one of the ways we can (and have) won games. The good news is that this team has multiple ways of winning.
This.

Team has multiple avenues to win.

And I do think Heise will drain some 3's tonight.

If Milan has to injure his hand the pinkie on non shooting hand, I would guess, is probably the least impactful. Which is rumor

There's way too much smoke

I know he has 0 offensive game, but man it's fun having them out there to trap and disrupt with his length.
Watson could be an interesting play with Jefferson's passing ability. Watson doesn't have a consistent jumper, but I thought he had some skill at making timely cuts to the rim.

DWat played out of necessity last season and had a couple big moments - again, out of necessity. He didn’t look like he belonged even with the walk-ons earlier this season. Granted some of that may be coming back from injury.

He was recruited over imo. Staff will elect to play Nojus because there’s greater talent and potential there. If we need to give time to somebody over the next month to maximize the potential of this team at the end of the year, it’s clearly Nojus over Watson.
Looked like he didn't even belong with the walk-ons? That's hyperbole if I've ever seen it...

Nojus is more talented, has higher potential, and is a better one-to-one replacement for Milan's offensive skillset. Watson is more seasoned, is more skilled defensively, and has the size to be more of a one-to-one replacement for Milan's defense and position. I think there are positives to both, depending on matchups and how Otz wants to fill the minutes at the 4 that Milan took up.

Last season, Watson averaged 4 minutes a game in the last 8 games of non-conference play. Then he proceeded to average 11 minutes a game from January through the end of the season. I don't think it's a lock for either Nojus or Watson. But would it really be that surprising if Otz went back to a guy who he's shown before that he trusts in Big 12 play? That's basically what happened last year with Watson replacing Biliew's minutes and eating into Pav's.

I took would be intrigued with this. Given Watsons experience in the system a game like this he might pay some dividends.

He did okay last years Big 12 season.
