Metcalf Possibly Leaving?

This Alli Ragan Open Mat podcast had me interested, so I dipped my toe in the cesspool that is Hawkeye Report. Not going to form any opinions as its not my concern, but man do they have some fur flying over there. Mineo and Willie vs HWC, member vs member, members calling out Randy Novak, members degrading women's wrestling now. The list goes on. Everyone has their version of the story. Well in any case that's an hour of my day my boss won't get back.

Basically her side of how it went down. Iowa coaches had a Zoom call with all the women and dropped the bomb that they were going to pay them through July and then it's over. She talked about how hurt they all were, but now understand that it's a business. She handled herself very well I thought. Now she's getting blasted on HR for "twisting the story". I thought she seemed genuine and even mentioned how Molinari was going to buy a house before that call.

Her side definitely contradicts Brands' story of the women made a decision to leave and we support it.

They are pushing the angle that they didn’t force them out and the ladies left on their own. Who wouldn’t leave if they stopped paying you?
 


Hopefully this Flo documentary helps get our recruiting going in the right direction!!!!! We need to start landing some hammers!!!!

So now Iowa fans don’t like BM as much, and ISU fans like him much more. Someone should look into how the heck this happened.
