Reality is that preseason polls are pretty much meaningless other than to create bubba chatter, a good basis being last year when they got zero correct. I suppose most years they get the first place team right, maybe the second on occasion, but mostly thereafter it's a dart throw, isn't it. That's certainly the case for this upcoming season as shown by the two rankings posted in this thread. The preseason teams are generally closer to reality though.
