Men's Basketball - Drop off area?

I plan on attending a few Basketball games this year. I don't have a parking pass, so I won't park close. I plan on taking my Dad to a couple - he is in his late 70s and the long walks can wear him out. Is there a place I can drop him off close to Hilton before I park so he doesn't have to walk as far? Maybe a drop off lane or something similar.

South side of Hilton where the old ticket office is. You can pull in and just say you’re dropping someone off. To be more specific, if you turn onto Center drive from University, there will be parking people blocking the rest of center drive and if you say drop off, take that first right to go towards Hilton and then a left to go under the walkway. Hopefully this isn’t too confusing.

Just listen for the overly zealous loud yelling parking lady yelling at pedestrians and she'll tell (yell) you where to go.

Be aware that the south parking lot you're talking about has been restriped similar to the north one. Not a big deal for the drop off, I would guess, but parking and walking through will be slightly different. Do wish they'd have resurfaced the tunnel under Center Drive when they did the parking lot. It's still full of cracks and holes.

I’m a big believer in use your best judgement and be polite in isu event parking.

Bless you for looking out for your Dad. Mine passed on a couple of years ago and I really miss not taking him to sporting events.

It may be better to use the drop-off west of Hilton (on the road between Hilton and Scheman). The elevator is there.
