My apologies if this topic is already posted somewhere; if so, please feel free to merge. I'm wondering what the tiebreakers are if say, ISU wins this weekend, KU wins, and BYU beats Texas Tech. This would result in a 3 way tie for 4th place between ISU, KU and TTU at 12-6 in conference for each. Would we possibly snag the 3 or 4 seed?

The only way we can get the 4 seed is if KU loses to K St. Looks like we will be playing at 11:30am on Wednesday next week and likely facing KU at 11:30am on Thursday if we win.
I doubt it. With a 3 way tie, its round robin tie breaker. Our 1-2 record won't help. Tech is 1-1 and Kansas is 2-1, so Kansas would be #3 and Tech #4 due to head to head.
We lose a 2 way tie to Kansas since they have a win over Arizona.

Were locked into the 5 seed unless some wacky stuff happens. Seems like the best outcome for us is that Tech ends up as the 4 seed as I would be ok with that re-match. So for me, we are rooting for BYU over Tech this weekend.
EDIT: I could make an argument that if we are trying to win the big 12 tourney, getting a 6 seed might be a better position to do that from. Avoid Arizona earlier and I like potential matchups in bottom half of bracket better.

Baylor and Okie State both looked good in their last games at Mid Florida. If somehow Baylor can win at Houston, and Okie State can beat Houston in Stillwater, we would have the double-bye as long as we win Saturday.
I get your reasining, but to be the 6, it would take losing the final regular season game, senior night, the final home game, the final game of Tamin's ISU career. (Correct?)
