A roundabout way of saying I like them all but I can't take anyone over Tom Holland (plus they ditched the Uncle Ben stuff).
Saw Morbius on Sunday and it was ok. Not horrible. Def have seen worse. I knew going in from recent reviews that it wasnt going to be great and that might have cushioned the blow a bit and allowed me to just enjoy it for what it was. I was honestly expecting it to be worse than it was.

Another hot MCU re-watch hot take after just finishing Eternals:
-By way of deaf actresses go in the MCU, I found the Echo actresses to be terrible and borderline unwatchable. You can clearly tell this is her very first acting gig, which it is, so I'm not exactly excited for the upcoming Echo series. HOWEVER, as for the Mercari actress, I found her to be fantastic all around and really loved her interplay with Druig especially. You can tell she has acted before as I also found her to be pretty good in The Walking Dead. I'd rather watch a Mercari series than an Echo one.
Did a Group Watch with my daughter this past weekend, we both loved it. Already making plans for the second episode.

For the end credits, without spoiling them, are they MCU related or just Spider-Man related?
Both, but neither of the credit scenes make any sense to what we know to be canon with those
In possibly related news, Dr Strange in the Mutliverse of Madness tickets can be purchased starting today. Release set for May 4th (not too subtle timing…).

I kind of think that is the point, there are really no rules about what has happened with the multiverse.

(Non-Spoilery Review) So, I finally saw Morbius last night and I'd say the best way to describe the film is to compare it to its Sony Marvel brethren Venom. Both sets of films are somewhat throwbacks to 90s-era dumb fun comic book movies with simple and marginal at best directing, storylines and writing. I believe this feeds into both sets of movies having pretty poor Rotten Tomato critic scores. With that said, what makes Venom different and better than Morbius is that it hits high enough on the "FUN" component of dumb fun, that general audiences forgive a lot of the other stuff because they are at least having a good time. I fall into that category myself with the Venom movies. However, when a movie like Morbius comes out that lacks or misses on a lot of the "FUN" components of dumb fun, then all the dumb becomes all the more glaring and unforgivable. To me, this is the best way to sum up Morbius.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy some aspects of the movie, as I found the first half of the movie to be halfway decent and I actually thought Jared Leto did a fine job. I did overall like the Morbius character and am okay with seeing more of him. I'm also less critical of some of the different abilities he was given in the movie, as I found some of them to be cool in the way they were represented. They just went a bit over-the-top on some of them in the 3rd act CGI-fest is all. Overall, I'd give the movie an eh.... it wasn't the worst comic book movie I've seen, even if I wouldn't call it a good comic book movie.
As for the infamous two post-credit scenes, I'd be lying if I didn't find them terrible and insulting. Everyone knows by now on here my disdain for both Amy Pascal and Avi Arad as producers in all these Sony Marvel productions, but those two post-credit scenes made me dislike them way more than the entire movie of Morbius did. A lot of why both of them are idiots is because they consider the audience idiots, which most of us are not. Its also disheartening to see them clearly making some of the same moronic mistakes them made with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 all over again. Its like Groundhogs Day.

We probably won’t watch it until it’s a couple more episodes in. We didn’t watch Hawkeye until the 2nd to last episode was out, then watched them all leading up to the day the final episode was available. Kinda liked that strategy.
I finished Moon Knight episode 2 and I'd say it picks up some, but not necessarily until towards the end of the episode. I'd be lying if I didn't say that this has been kind of a long drawn-out slow burn to get to where we are at the end of the episode, especially for only a 6 episode series. So far, I'd be hard-pressed to guess this will be one of my favorite Marvel series when it is all said and done, but it at least has me entertained enough so far. I wouldn't be shocked if some people tap out after this episode as this show won't be for everyone.
Strangely I think where Moon Knight succeeds (and might find some audience) is that it really has yet to tie anything into the MCU at large. I’m really curious to see how they’ll tie this lore in.
Maybe the purple magic we start seeing in this episode will start to tie into the chaos magic introduced in WandaVision.
Moon Knight is quickly shaping up to be one of my favorite heroes after a mere two episodes. Everything about him and his lore is fantastic!
He has dissociative identity disorder, but when he talks to his other identities in the mirror they move 100% separate from him.
Jump back to Spiderman 1 when Norman Osborn talks to himself in the mirror, they very clearly show you its him making both voices happen. Willem Dafoe gave me goosebumps with that performance.
I'll get over it, its still fun to hear him argue with his mirror self.

Still fully in after 2 episodes. Hope we don't lose the Steven/Marc dynamic completely just as it gets going.
His DID may not be the run of the mill type. With the supernatural element added to it, the various personas may be more fleshed out, so to speak, than they normally would. Or it's just a way to make it easier on the viewers to understand the state of the suppressed persona without dialog.
