Marching Band Suggestions

I think you should do a country theme sometime. Brad Paisley's "Online" would be a fun one and Big & Rich have some good ones that might sound good like Save a Horse or the Gameday theme Comin' to Your City. There are plenty of country songs that would sound good I think too. Here's another one I just thought of too, my HS marching band actually did it once because it featured the tubas: Elvira by The Oak Ridge Boys because the tubas get to blast out the deep "oomm papa maw maws" LOL
Some of those might even be decent songs to mix in with the pep band too actually.

Could you PLEASE stop the traveling band. It is annoying to most of us in the upper deck. And there simply is not enough walking room uder the stadium.
I was heading to the bathroom with my kid this year and one of the guys in front literally knocked my kid to the ground and glared at him. If one of the other band members had not immediately apologized and been kind I might have lost my cool and shoved the first guy's trumpet down his throat and out the other end...

I suppose it'd be a little too much to ask to have the entire band crank that, followed by performing a superman on "that ho"?

Sorry Cowbell is going to stay forever. That is 99% the most liked drumline cadence sorry but nope.
Oh well. I can't win every battle.
The other thing I always wanted to see us do, and I dunno if it'd be someone from the band, is plant a flag at midfield in pregame. If done right, it looks badass.
Sounds badass, but how many people would be on here complaining that we are copying everyone else that does that. Doesn't EIU do that?
I was going to say - I really liked that one. We always cheered to that one when my friends and I went to the games while at ISU...
What about blink 182 - All the small things? The band played that one year in front of the student section and it was awesome. Any chance we can see that again?
It's in our folders, I think we've played it a couple times this season as a stand tune.
Doesn't matter what song it is, but you should definitely bunch up in front of the student section and play more often!
