Manipulatable Refs

The biggest problem I have with the reffing was if it is a foul for one team than it is a foul for the other team. Also if its a foul once it is a foul all games, Niang was getting held by Hield all night, but he didn't get called for it until late in the game.

Once the Refs got the makeup calls out of the way the did kinda call the game in ISU's favor.

And what's the deal with Fran and Musberger talking about how calm Kruger is on the sideline for the second straight game, both which featured Kruger yelling at the refs shortly after?

If there's one coach in college basketball who never shows up the refs or yells needlessly at his players, he was at the game last night, but it wasn't Kruger.

Strange analysis.

I mean far be it for me to question the master, but sometimes i do wish fred was a little more vocal to the refs than he is just because refs have a natural tendency even if unintended to go 'this guy is super ****** and this guy is fine with the calls, maybe i am tilting it one way'. Dont want him to go full Huggins\Kruger\Self\Fran but just a little more.

The thing that drives me crazy is when refs don't make the same calls on one end of the floor that they do on the other end.

Basketball is refereed by humans who make mistakes. Coaches who can capitalize on that are going to win more than coaches who can't.

The Hogue "foul" against Thomas on the missed dunk (where Hogue intentionally got out of the way) was particularly egregious. Especially when a minute later, Jameel was draped with three OU players on a missed dunk and they didn't call a damn thing.

They also did call goaltending on OU for a player grabbing the rim and pulling it down.
