Driving through town on the way up to the North Woods early next week.

Anyone have any recs for a good lunch spot?

Are you going around via the beltline east to 94/39?

Graze or The Great Dane if you're headed downtown.

Near east side has a few diveyish bars with good bar food. Wilson's is one.

There's also a few spots along East Wash that are decent but I haven't dabble much.

Tipsy Cow

Muramoto
Casetta (have heard good things but not personally had)

If not driving down in:

La Taguara
Branch and Daughter or Salvatore's

Where did you end up going??
Timing ended up not working out for lunch because we took a bit of a detour and went to New Glarus Brewing, so we stopped and had a beer at BarleyPop Tap and Shop in Madison, then had dinner at Guu’s on Main in Stevens Point.

Went to grad school there.
At the time, there was:
Pizza Pit
Rocky Rococo's Pizza - really good
The Nitty Gritty - burgers, etc.
This is a guilty pleasure of mine! I am sure nostalgia plays a role into my thinking but if I am ever passing thru Madison I plan it so I can stop at Rocky Rococo's!
