M-Shop

I dont' know about the M-shop, but I find your signature picture to be utterly hilarious!!! rep to you sir!

I think if you've got money to buy tickets you're good. I don't think I ever had to show a student ID to get in or anything. On the other hand, depending on your age it might be weird since it is basically all students that would go there.

wait, being the only really old dude in a crowd of young people is wierd?

signed,

the guy standing outside an elementary school in a poncho and aviators, passing out candy to children as they pass by

I think students can sometimes get a ticket discount, but it's open to the general public.

I suppose there could be an event there that is specifically for students only, but in that case the event would specifically state that.

So...a group of people in their 30's would feel out of place? Just asking.

I can count the number of concerts I went to at the M-Shop on one hand, but it was always a younger crowd. These, however, were all for the same band that was not one of the bigger acts that M-Shop brought in, so I have no idea if the crowd is different for other shows.

there's a comedian there this Friday night....seemed like a fun thing to do.

Thanks for the opinions!

you know, if you wouldn't feel out of place going to welch ave to catch a game, you probably wouldn't feel out of place at the M-Shop. I wonder if they will have actual seating out for a comedian, it's usually just standing for concerts.

Depends on the event, but in general I'd say no. Especially if you're in a group. We've gone to several concerts (jazz, blues, similar) where there were all ages with an average probably at least in the 40s.

Money is money. If you have the admission amount, you should be good to go.
BTW, if tickets are sold ahead of time for a discount (Student Union Board - Get Tickets) that's when you'd def. need to show student ID. I have seen them ask for it a few times at the door, too.
