After it we got that TD to bring it back to a two score game, I knew it was one of those games I had to not be watching for us to win. So I did the dishes, took out recycling, took out compost, took out garbage, and talked to my 10 year old about how well her piano practice was sounding. Ran out of stuff to do just as the Cyclones were lining up for 2. I'm really sorry, everyone. I'll try better to shirk all my responsibilities for the next 6 days so I have plenty to do in case I'm needed next weekend.

You bastard. You owe us a top 10 win.

Just kidding. Figure I better put this in or someone would think I was serious.

As I was doing the chores, my wife was yelling at me: "We scored a touchdown...," "We intercepted the ball...," "We scored another touchdown..." And in the back of my mind I was like "oh my god its it's working!" That's when I knew I had to keep out of the livingroom and find more stuff to do. Almost made it!

I hate you now, with the fire of a thousand suns.

My crushed titanium cup can never be replaced. Never.

Isn't it funny how we all really believe this sh!t though? I honest to god have stayed in the same spot because that's where I was when the comeback started. It makes no rationale sense, but fandom makes idiots out of us all.

Still... the L is totally on you.

No it was my fault. I waited until the start of the 4th quarter to mute the tv and turn on John and Eric. We would've blown their doors off if I just did it sooner. Sorry everybody.

Two weeks ago I made the mistake of wearing ISU gear on game day. That's always a curse. I should have known better.

Last night I was encouraged to turn the game on. Watched the two easy interceptions get dropped and OU go up 28-7 before turning it off. I should have never turned it on. Or at least turned it off sooner.

They always lose when I watch.

Next time, do more. K, thanks.

It's only weird if it doesn't work.
