That thread getting locked is wild. Knew this site was basically a mouthpiece for the Athletic Department, but that level of control is something else.
Did it get shut down? Or moved to the Cave? etc..
I wasnt sure where it went, but I also opt out of the Cave so wasnt sure, since someone on it was asking for it to be Caved.
It got locked. And maybe it’s gone now. Jeremy posted a threatening message about how it better not be deleted.
It won’t kill the bad vibes at all. But god damn, we need this press conference to happen just to give something else for people to talk about.
New basketball polls come out Monday as well. I don’t take these introductory press conferences too seriously. They all pretty much say the same thing.
I will say this. Our new coach has a hard row to hoe tomorrow. He better gain some personality!
I can be a very negative person/poster. I've had some real gems on here. That said ... it destroys growth.
Seeing our new coach coming off that jet in a major snowstorm ... with his wife and 2 young kids was a seriously great moment in a very dark time for Cyclone football. Like green sprouts after a forest fire.

Just going to ignore it all until August. Put it out of my mind. Enjoy the ride with the basketball team and root for the Cubs this spring. And come August, we will see what happens I guess.
