The last few years I thought the deal was we let TeXa$ show this game on their network and we show it on Cyclones.tv. How in the world did it get put only on their network? We need to step up our game with Cyclones.tv. I'll be able to get through the Watch Espn app. My new question is, how do I put John Walter's radio commentary on delay so that my tv and radio sync up? I would much much much rather listen to our him than TeXa$ commentary.

Hope that the radio is behind the tv so you're able to pause the tv and sync.

No, the last time it was on the LHN and they agreed to send their feed to cyclone.tv. We had our own announcers though. Not sure why they didn'tx work this time. I'm guessing LHN has more reach now then it did back then so they had little motivation to work out a deal.

Which is why he told me my equipment protection plan was pointless. Add it when I need it, cancel it when I don't. Hope this helps fellow DirecTV Subscribers.
Isn't this like buying car insurance after you have an accident? I have the equipment protection package as well but would gladly get rid of it.

BTW, great information! Thanks.

Yup.

Hoping I can sync radio broadcast with TV.. but could be difficult.
You can use the TuneIn Radio app. It has the Cyclone Radio Network broadcasts and you can pause the audio to help line it up.

iHeartRadio also plays the radio feed but it doesn't look like you can pause it (but there is a delay from the actual radio).

I'm accepted the inevitable. My wife and I are trying to teach the kids that sometimes you just have to make the best of a bad situation. We are streaming Cyclone Radio and blue toothing to a Pill and the whole family is going to huddle around a speaker and listen to it via radio. We are going to call it a mix of 1940 and 2018. Since ironically enough AM 1600 cuts frequency at 6:00 and we can't hear it. So many bad cards we are dealt in this one!
If you hear about an alien invasion of New Jersey, it's not an actual event. Don't panic.

Isn't LHN network 3rd tier just like Cyclones.tv. My understanding is that only 1 non-conference game drops to 3rd tier unless both schools come to an agreement. If the agreement was they air the game, but let us broadcast the feed as well great! If that isn't the agreement, I don't understand how they were able to get it on their channel without giving us something in return. I'd rather watch on a Fox Sports directional channel.

Its not a third tier game. ESPN used a 1st tier pick on the game back in April and assigned it to LHN which they own.

We have Cox cable. LHN is an additional charge. When K-State MBB played UT on the network, I bought it that night and discontinued immediately after the game. There was a 12-hour trial window last year.

I'm going to go the PS Vue route. Should only cost me the $10 extra for the sports package, then I'll cancel it. I figure worst case, it would be worth the $60 for the whole month even if there wasn't a trial, it's a lot cheaper than what it would cost to go to actually the game, which is my only other option at this point.

I signed up to use the DirectvNOW free trial and then logon to ESPNapp with those new Directv credentials and was not able to watch LonghornTV. I am going to try and up the package and see if it will let me watch...
