Broderson is going to be a very good wrestler for Iowa State. Wouldn’t be surprised if Colbray goes back up to 197 next year to make room for Broderson at 184

Great win by Broderson. Looks like concentrating on only wrestling and being in the cyclone wrestling room is paying off big time. Beating the Hawkeyes top recruits is always great to see too.

Didn't see the match, but Track showing Aden Reeves lost in the finals by score of 22-19. That must've been some match.

Unless something drastically changes I don’t see this as realistic. Broderson isn’t AA material this early in his career. Colbray is undersized at 197. He didn’t have much success at that weight before and has a realistic shot at the podium at 184

Now if Broderson can get to 174 next year (which I have no idea is even feasible) I can get behind that.

Give Broderson a full year dedicated to wrestling and I think his potential would surprise you. I also think Colbray would be much better at 197 than he was a couple years ago just by the way he is wrestling now. He’s much more active, would be quicker than 95% of 197 wrestlers, and he could have an offseason to bulk up
