Lindell Wigginton

That starting lineup consists of the number 12 (Preston), 32 (Coleman), 36 (McCormack), 53 (Wigginton), and 88 (Nwuba) recruits according to 247. Impressive.

I'd take that starting line-up next season.

I have mentioned it in the previous threads but, the added benefit of landing Wigginton from Oak Hill is building a relationship with the HC and School. The head coach sounded very impressed with the staff's dedication and process. Having that school as a source of recruiting prospect in the future could really benefit ISU's program.

I agree. Idk about you guys but when I think of high school basketball I think of oak hills academy. Having these guys as a pipeline would be my #1 want

Just having a good relationship with Canadian players is key, but having some success recruiting Oak Hill players would be incredible.

I just love how Lindell is surrounded by other high level players and practices against high level players because this will help immensely with his transition to college hoops. He will be used to playing with and against extremely talented players and he should be able to step in day one and succeed

I was told by someone (an insider) once that Niang, before college, used to face a guy named Nerlens Noel in practice every day & that's what got Georges ready for P5 ball.

I'm sure LW will follow in Georges' foot steps in that regard!

Echoing another cliche from the Hoiberg era...

I hope Prohm tells Jackson to kick Wigginton's ass in practice next year. Going up against an experienced senior PG with a man's body (and an ace shooter, so you can't cheat and give him and ounce of space on the perimeter) is going to be good for the freshman.

I hope Lindell realizes that's a selling point of this program, too, not a bug. That experience and having him to compete against and learn from is going to be huge. And if you think Jackson is bad, wait until you see whatever Self, Kruger, and Huggy have waiting for you.

Let's make this into an SAT question quickly.

Lindell Wigginton has officially signed. *confetti*

@AdamZagoria Oak Hill guards Devontae Shuler (Ole Miss) and Lindell Wigginton (Iowa State) signed their NLIs, per @OHACoachSmith
Nice!! Totally forgot that today was signing day with that whole presidential election thing. Glad for a distraction from that!

They also have Devontae Shuler (signed with Ole Miss today), who is 100 in the 247 Comp.

Watched some highlights from Oak Hill's first game. There are a couple of decent highlights of Lindell in there. I wish we could get one of Oak Hill's bigs. Makes me sick that Billy Preston (23) chose KU the other day. He is a heck of a forward. This team is really good.

Here is a few from last week as well. Lindell had a few nice dunks.
