Great show. A lot about ILM that I did not know, especially the people who worked there. I have watched a half dozen documentaries about Pixar, never saw a story before about how it was developed at ILM. All the Pixar docs started with Steven Jobs purchasing it from George Lucas. An amazing show and well worth seeing.

I find the process of movie making (movie magic) fascinating. The telling of individual personal stories, like that of Phil Tippett of the Creatures and Stop Motion department discussing how the effort involved in stop motion work helped him overcome his bipolar illness, that may have prevented him from committing suicide.

Those stories plus those of how special and visual effects were created the very first time for Star Wars or Poltergeist or E.T., to me is interesting.
