Let's Talk Kentucky

I wonder how the officiating is going to be tomorrow? I swear if they call a cheap one on Buchanan out of the gate I am going to punch a hole in the wall.

Lol he pronounces it correctly, he just enunciates both syllables so loudly and distinctly like he's talking to an old guy with a hearing aid.
No, he pronounces it wrong. It’s pronounced HIzee

He pronounces it hi—-ZEE. Has done it all year.

CBS just completely glazed UK in a segment. Already placing them in the 2nd weekend & more. Having Mashburn (must think he's Belichek the way he dresses) & another SEC stooge fueled it even more.

He never played on a championship team. His best team lost in the finals to … wait for it … Kentucky. Goose Givens was the great player on that Kentucky team.
Sorry, my old memory. First time really being into watching the final four. I meant to say he layer in the championship game.

Agree, ISU fans and staff Are next man up mode. This staff and team isnt doing "woe is me" they are mentally tough and will go down swinging.

Hell of a lot more mentally tough than numerous members of this site who have already prepped themselves with Vaseline, that’s for sure.

I think we have a chance of getting Kipp Kissinger . . . and Courtney Greene (Jordan Bohanan's nemisis) as referees.

CBS commentator just got done raving about the connection the UK team has to the state and its fans. Gee, I wish ISU had fans like this, maybe they would show up for games.

Huh…. that’s one of those weird fan rationales right here. Kentucky has been wildly up and down all year and I’m not sure they really have one impressive win.

In Michigan is one of the three or four or five favorites to win the whole entire team. They’re gigantic their athletic. They play good defense and they play pretty good offense. Everybody’s concerned with playing Michigan.

With that said, should they play? I will be cheering for Iowa State and I’m typically a big 10 Homer. That’s just how much I like the state schools after being out of the state for 25 years, 30 really, I forgot my stent in Missouri….

Virginia I’m not terribly impressed with, but they’re still way way more consistent than Kentucky
They have wins over St. John's, Tennessee x2, Texas, Arkansas, and Vandy. They don't really have any bad losses, just a lot of them.
