Infante is the only one you can't make a case for. There is a reason this team is leading their division and played in World Series last year. Somehow I don't think the national media would be troubled by this if it were Yankees and Red Sox

Fan voting should have gone away years ago. It's ridiculous but I love how the national media is squirming because Royals fans have completely dominated the voting so far. If it was a major market team, they would have no problem with it.
Good riddance.
As a Royals fan, I think it's terrible they're voting for Infante. He's awful. He should be on the bench, not in the All Star game collecting a bonus.
For making the team yes. For them starting, no. Maybe 3 or 4 I could see starting.
I gotta go with Cain. 316/373/491 with 16 SBs and stellar defense. Outside of Trout and Harper, I don't think there's an outfielder I'd rather have on the team.
Cain is the man. Hope he is a Royal for many years. By far my favorite player and I believe the best on the team.

Biggest Surprise - Chris Young, who has been a godsend for the rotation
Biggest disappointment - Rios (I already figured Infante would suck)
Most important thing to watch for 2nd Half - Ventura and Duffy - we need these guys back and in top form. Duffy looking better his last couple starts.

Even if you somehow make it into the series, the series will not go past 5 games.
Yeah, I could see the Royals winning in 5 or sweeping this year too.
Gotta laugh at "somehow make it into the series." Based on last postseason and the results of the season to date, you'd have to consider the Royals the AL favorite. Doesn't mean we'll make it, as anything could happen in the playoffs, but it does make me laugh at statements like that.
