MLB: ****LETS GO ROYALS!!! 2015 October Repeat!****

Thought it was all settled last night, but apparently Oakland wants a war when we have gas in the pen. This won't end well for them.

Wow that was a fun game to watch! Idk how anyone can see this as the royals initiating anything this series...

Royals are trying to be the Seahawks of the MLB. Talk a lot of ****, constant drama, instigate and continued lame antics from the likes of Ventura in particular.

Pretty easy from a neutral observer's standpoint. This season its obvious they are constantly looking for a fight as motivation.

yea this is mainly on the Royals. They need to grow up quite a bit particularly ventura given the results of his 3 starts this year. Yes the Royals have been hit a lot this year but intent was not there on most. Royals pitchers have thrown at hitters heads multiple times and missed, those skew the stats.

Lawrie took his medicine yesterday (from a hard not dirty slide as Denny Matthews (the royals very knowledgeable radio guy even said)) but Ventura had to keep running his mouth and then it got carried over to today.

That being said go Royals.

Herrera throwing behind lawries head with 100 mph heat and then pointing to head afterward was complete bush league. no room in the league for that crap.

Herrera shouldn't have thrown behind Lawrie that high, or really thrown behind him at all. But Lawrie shouldn't also slide in spikes up at a shortstops knee when the shortstop is receiving a throw at second like a first baseman.

Yea, but lawrie already got hit, took it the right way even with ventura following down the line, then you do that ********? complete bush league

Agreed. What about Kazmir throwing at Cain in the first today. The A's were spouting off last night after the game saying they were going to retaliate and the Kazmir "accidentally" hits Cain? None of this would have been escalated if Ventura stayed on the mound and the A's/Kazmir realized it was all evened up.

Then explain why the Royals have been hit by pitches more than any other team.

Ventura gets tossed with no warning yesterday yet today's A's starter who has excellent control all day nails the leadoff batter and gets off with a warning given to both teams and two Royals coaches getting tossed.

Lawrie coming in spikes high on a play where there was no DP in play anyway was just as bad as a high inside 100 mph pitch IMO. Both could result in serious injury.

agreed, should have been over with the lawrie HTB if ventura keeps it together. put it unnecessarily over the top.

On second look, it looks like it went behind his back rather than head.

I don't know. Looked pretty dirty to me. Plus it hurt a guy who wasn't in a bad position.

So royals have had 2 guys injured by stupid plays from the twins and athletics, and they are suppose to act as if everything is fine?? Plus the other teams are hitting our players and taking cheap shots at them and no one is being ejected. But Cain/Royals get the last laugh winning the series!

Bottom line it looks like this team can handle being the hunted, which was a concern for me coming into the season.

Lawrie slides with spikes high and injures Escobar - NO EJECTION

Ventura plunks Lawrie - Immediate Ejection

Kazmir retaliates by hitting Cain - NO EJECTION

Herrera throws behind Lawrie - Immediate Ejection

1. A's started this, Royals did not. A's CONTINUED it. Royals only answered TWO plays in which the A's should have been ejected, but weren't.
2. Why was neither Lawrie NOR Kazmir ejected? What they did is as much of a message to other teams as it is to MLB that they are not going to put up with what other teams are doing.
3. Media can paint whatever picture they want, but in my view, Royals did the right thing. If they don't do what they did, they look like a pushover.
4. Royals players know that every player on their team has their back.
5. If teams are doing this because they don't like the Royals swagger, then they just need to get over that. Playing dirty because you don't like that someone celebrates after a great play is immature. Grow up and GET OVER IT. If you don't want to see Royals celebrate great plays, then don't let them make them.

Lots of boney-armed little prima donnas acting like they've actually won a division title in the last 30 years. Herrera should get 15 days, same as a DL trip.

Holy Moses! Get real, you're 180 off track.
