Lazard moving on

I'm hoping Osborn continues to develop into the #2.
Lazard's stats compare pretty closely with Theilen, this year. 60-70 catches, 7-800 yards, 7 TDs. He shines in run blocking, though. And he's a big body in the red zone.
Remember he missed a couple/several games this year. His numbers aren't bad!

He could be a 1, just on teams like Houston, Chicago, etc.

Hope he goes to a contender.

He would be a 1 in name only. He would never have the production of a 1. This year was his chance to prove he could be a WR 1 in production and he let a rookie take it from him.

Apparently thats mean.

I agree, however. It's nothing to sneeze at, it just impacts who and how much.

Al is leaving Green Bay and DM is leaving the Bears. Great news for both of them. Now we just need to get Breece healed up and out of New York.
It’s too early to say if either is leaving. It’s been a weird thread day on this. A bunch of pending free agents are going to sign deals and return to their current teams.

Most TEs don’t normally block guys like Micah Parsons one on one anyway, they provide more of a chip on guys like that. He could certainly put on a few pounds, he’s what, 230 already. Not out of the realm, and really good blocking and pass catching TEs will get paid handsomely.

Honestly, blocking TEs are a dime a dozen and only the elite TEs (there are probably 15 total in the NFL in terms of contracts) make the bank of the above-average WR making $11-15M APY.

AL is an excellent possession WR who also is excellent at blocking. He fits in just about everywhere, including teams whose offense is run-centric and would really value his blocking skill on the edge. He should CASH this offseason and he doesn't have to play TE to do that.

always hope the best for him...the fact of the matter is that he was on the other end of arguably one of the best QBs ever...with a somewhat limited receiving corp...IDK how brightly he'll shine in other places. Not to mention, the NFC north defenses haven't been the best during his time in GB. Not sure he'll ever be a #1...in any case, thank GOD he's not staying with GB...so tough to cheer for him every week.

Rodgers likes AL. I also believe Cobb is done, Rodgers likes to have a couple buddies around. He demanded Cobb be brought in, he could demand AL stays. This next year is the hard year for GB. Does AL come back for a similar 4MM type year, and then have a bump in the later years of his contract? It's possible, Rodgers is the guy who got him on the field.

I thought it was possible, but the opp was there.

Nothing to sneeze at. And Georges is showing, being a great teammate and doing things right as a professional pays off. Same with DM.
