Lane Splitting - Stupid MN law

Minnesota should focus on getting the drivers that camp in the left lane and fine the **** out of them first. Worst state ever for this.

Wisconsin is actually worse.

Minnesota has 2 kinds of interstate drivers: people who go 65 in the left lane, and people who go 95.

Peeps usually complain about left lane folks not speeding enough. As a Minnesotan I have more trouble with the guy parked in the left lane using it as their personal express lane to speed in. Not like I don't speed on the interstate (more like 10% over but not double that) but when I try to pass using the left lane I have to cut in front of someone speeding much faster like 85-90mph. A lot of those guys never leave the left lane and don't like to share it, it's their personal "express" lane. God forbid anyone else trespass on their property.

Been able to do it in California for like 30 years
I was pulled over in CA for passing cars on the on ramp ( VERY long time ago) ... because I saw someone else do it. But, as anyone in CA knows, they do it BUT they don't know why they allow it. I struck up a conversation with the officer (who let me off with a warning), and it's really simple why they do it. They can't very well be allowed to do it themselves if it's illegal so they just allow anyone to do it .... within reason (i.e. 20-25 mpg). A V-45 Sabre at the beach. Oh what a life I had ..... way back then. When they implemented the helmet law, things changed for me. Those who were able to ride motorcycles without a helmet can attest to this. 'Hearing' is so important when riding, but I didn't realize it until I donned the helmet and blocked out sound. Too many close calls after that. So, bye bye bike.
