After rewatching parts of the game, I wanted to give Landen Akers big credit for saving the drive where we took the lead with the long TD pass to Hutchinson.

On the first play of the drive (2:01 left in the 3rd quarter) Purdy threw a floater to Akers into double coverage that easily could have been picked off. Akers made a great effort to adjust and try for the catch, but then ended up playing defensive back and knocked the ball away.

Obviously there was still lots of time in the game and anything could have happened after that, but I haven't really seen this play mentioned (understandably so) and wanted to make sure Akers got credit for making a big play that doesn't show up in the stats but still played a big role in scoring, taking the lead, and eventually winning the game!
