Did anyone watch this? Stats have KU with 3 yards rushing in a loss to the SEC. We can handle their passing if we don't have to worry about the rush at all.

They only ran the ball 19 times it says. Looks like a blocked punt or something. #70 lost 25 yards on a play. 28 yards isn’t great but better than 3.

Didn't watch, but if you look at the box score they only had 19 rush attempts. One of them was a 25 yard loss by a lineman. If you get rid of that anomaly they averaged 2 yards per rush. Still less than stellar, but better than the .2 yards per rush with this negative play.

Started watching toward the end of the first quarter when KU was up 21-3. So pretty much saw Mizzou dominate. The Mizzou OC called a really good game, Mizzou was very physical and their portal QB from Penn State is going to be a good one. As much as Mizzou seemed to dominate, KU mistakes really hurt them.

KU is still a really solid offense, but not as elite when they had Neal and Hishaw. The crazy game stat is KU ran 49 plays and Daniels either ran or passed on 40 of them.

IMO KU will give ISU a game if we play conservative on offense and just rush 3 players. Daniel is a solid QB if he can sit in the pocket and throw intermediate & deep routes. He's also a really good scrambler from the pocket. But maintain line discipline to keep him in the pocket and put pressure on, he tends to struggle. ISU needs to bring the last drive pass rush.

KU's defense is REALLY bad if challenged. If Campbell/Mouser's game plan is short passes, then that plays into KU's lazy, bad tackling DB's. Mizzou had a ton of success using motion to unsettle KU's db's and Mizzou had great success passing between the hashes.

KU had a good chance. Left a lot of plays on the field
Agree and some were inexcusable.

At the end of the first half, I have no idea why Hishaw wasn't told to stay inbounds on his run. It essentially gave Mizzou 3 TO's under a minute left and gave Mizzou 40 more seconds to get the FG. Heck, I think Mizzou just handed the ball off to run out the clock, but KU's bad defense gave up a 39 yard run.

Also felt the drop by KU's receiver Henderson late in the 4th quarter ended KU's hopes.

The big momentum changer was the Mizzou player batting the Daniels fumble 10 yards into the KU endzone resulting in a safety. But that was on the Big12 refs.
