Strong disagree. Chiefs tailgating scene is incredible. Pretty sure they have a decent set up for Uber to and from the game.

Baseball on the other hand downtown is far and away better.
There isn't a professional stadium for any sport in the United States with a worse situation for Uber/Lyft than Arrowhead. I'm not exaggerating. Getting there is fine, leaving is next to impossible.

Not trying to derail this thread, but damn this picture really reinforces my love for downtown stadiums. I'll be there but won't have a car so our options are really limited. If we were playing at US Bank stadium in mpls or something similar, it'd be a great day of seeing cyclones at the bars and then just strolling into the stadium.

I get the appeal of these stadiums just surrounded by miles of parking and I love it for ISU. To me it just feels lame when you're in a bigger, fun city with plenty else to do and the stadium is just out on an island
I think there's a big difference if you're on the edge of a campus (with some fields for tailgating, kinda hate parking lots) vs. a giant stadium complex with parking lot right off of an interstate.

Yep. Especially for pro stadiums, it just doesn’t feel right to be on an island of concrete parking lots for miles surrounded by interstate when it’s such a fun city with so many cool spots. Let me walk to and from the power & light before and after the game!

Three options, which would you choose?

Fourth row but you're behind the Kansas bench.
Seventh row in the corner, ISU side.
Second row but behind the endzone.

It was terrible waiting for an Uber at a Royals game. Can't imagine how bad it is for a football gameday crowd

I think they will be 3-5 when they play us, but there is a part of me that thinks they are not as bad as we think and may put together a 3-4 game-winning streak.

3 of their losses they had the lead in the 4th Quarter and its not like Illinois, UNLV and West Virginia are terrible.

A lot of ticket price gurus in here. No offense to anyone specifically. But I don't know how some of you are so confident the prices are going to come down.

One ticket I've been watching on Seat Geek was $222 yesterday and $274 today.

No offense but if anyone here wants to buy tickets today, this week, or this month, I’ll find some and sell them to you all day long.

I also have parking that I will sell cheaper than you can get thru the chiefs website and would sell separately or find tickets to make a package.

Emotion is more of a friend to sellers than buyers.
But as I’ve previously said in this thread, value is relative to the buyer…

Sorry if this has been explained up thread. I'm a part of the camp that plans to hold as long as possible. What's the story on parking and what's the best plan of attack there?
