I bought tickets during the presale and I was given the option to purchase a parking pass on checkout.

Thru Iowa State? Or presale with thru KU. I certainly do not remember the option to get parking thru ISU?

When we played UNLV at the NFL stadium in Vegas three years ago, there were so many Cyclone fans panicking all summer about getting their tickets early. I decided to wait until closer to the game day and I ended up with excellent seats at a very reasonable price.

This could backfire on me, but I think I'm going to use the same strategy for the KU game in Arrowhead. If the prices get too ridiculous, I'll probably just watch it from the comfort of my family room.

I used a PreSale Code I got from a KU friend to purchase tickets in the 8/27 - 8/30 window. I was able to purchase a parking pass on checkout.

Like others said, buying parking day of game won't be an issue, and parking will be first come-first serve except for premium areas. But Chiefs are in charge of parking, so it will be the $50 for general parking. There won't be any deals to be had.

For $50 it better be valet parking and they wash and wax my car during the game!

In July I went ahead and pulled the trigger on 4 lower level end zone seats (row 24) for my neighbor and I. I blame FOMO and not wanting to sit in the 200 or 300 levels. Time will tell if I overpaid or not I guess. I paid $151 total for each ticket on Vivid Seats.

So.. is KU actually wanting to sell tickets to this game? I've been checking every few days for the last 2 months

There is a ton of inventory available.... and hopefully Kansas just lost some of the market demand.

Honestly if I'm KU, do you really want to open up more tickets? Do you really want 25000 ISU fans there? I don't know how/if they are sharing concessions so not sure if the Chiefs want as many people as possible.
It's supposed to be their home game so maybe they limit tickets?

I randomly looked up KU's football stadium rebuild.. It's looking nice but I didn't realize until today that they're only doing half the stadium... the visitor's side isn't getting touched until "Phase 2" and they haven't put together any timeline for that.

It's going to be a looong time, isn't it? I had the "pleasure" of tailgating there last year with about 150 other people.... not sure when that will ever pencil out for them.

and if I'm KU at some point you want to get whatever you can... ISU fans, maybe enough red and yellow will pull confused Chief's fans off of the interstate, people who want to stand next to the suite that Taylor Swift sits in... anything you can get.

ISU will be on the Visitor sideline, correct?

Looking at Seat Geek now, you can get lower bowl corner on ISU side for ~$170 per ticket.

I'm going to be watching this. We've kicked around heading down and making a weekend of it. We haven't been to KC yet this year, and we always enjoy it.

If any of you REALLY want to buy, there are some better options after tonight.

Current market looks like this for lowers.

End Zone Corners on the Iowa State half (105 to 109) are $165 each
104 is $205 each
135 & 136 are $225 each

I know some people want to buy now, I'm still a long-game strategy guy so just passing the info along....

I have never been to arrowhead. We're taking our son & DIL who live in KC with us to the game. I'm looking at seats midway up from the field in sections 136 and 102, which "appear" to be the visitor (ISU) side on seat geek. There are a number for rows in the those sections where the seats are marked with "one or more seats have an obstructed or limited view". What can possibly obstruct the view of those seats? Can anyone clue me in? Also, am I looking in the right sections to be with other Cyclones? Thanks in advance for any advice from people familiar with the venue!

Yes, 135,136, and then starting at 101 are Cyclone sideline seats

It must be that the seats are still low enough that players/coaches maybe tents? would limit the view of the sideline?
Or, are they near the top of the section and under the club section overhang?

I’m guessing they are being overly cautious with this limited view label.
