Knott for Bowl Game

CPR said it was possible if all they had to do was scope the shoulder. You could tell even when CPR said that even he didn't think there was a chance. Knott came in a few days later and said the recovery was 3 months, which means they did more then scope the shoulder.

I've had that surgery it's 12 weeks to recovery and it's still really sore for a year if you get hit there. There is no way he's playing that bowl game.

Hopefully he is 100% for the NFL combine. Could be the difference of millions of dollars for him. He has proven everything he needs to as a cyclone. Time for him to be a little selfish, I'd say. He deserves it.

I'd love to see Jake in a cyclone uni again but for his sake I hope he doesn't play and get's ready for the combine/draft... Besides, the higher Jake get's drafted, the better the pub is for the clones than if he doesn't get drafted because he busted tail to get back for the bowl game and then re-aggrevates his injury.

Oh, he's saying Lee's Summit, don't you kid yourself. Just like everyone who leaves Iowa and goes all bigtime, he'll do anything to cover it up.

Might him playing in the bowl game actually help his draft stock by showing that he was able to heal up from the injury instead of teams wondering if he will be fully healed ever? Just throwing that thought out there.

Probably not, it wouldn't be worth the risk of him re-injuring it and not be able to put up good numbers at the combine. Teams already know what Jake Knott is made of. Whoever drafts him is going to be very, very lucky.
