NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Decent news. Nothing broken, nothing torn. It could be way worse. Hoping for a few weeks max.
Well...

Not so sure about that, but... Ligaments are a funny thing. Not really when stretched out, or torn.

Hopefully it will heal properly. Al least it's not an ankle, knee, shoulder. And he'll get all the best treatment.

Typically when there is a dislocation, you do have at least some degree of stretched/torn capsular or connective tissue. I would think.

I haven't read the injury report. It ill be interesting to see how fast he can come back.

Great first half by the offense, glad to see that maybe they are coming together. Picked up the win, gives us a one game led on hosting the conference championship game. The rest of the schedule is going to be a bear, on the road to Denver, play Miami in Germany, week off then play the Eagles at home.

I had this as a toss up going in so very good win. Assuming no trouble with Denver, I would take a split with the Dolphins/Eagles. After those two games, the schedule is pretty easy. Should be able to finish we 3-5 losses tops

That bye week after Germany is a good thing, and right before Philly. Is that something they try to do, a bye, after a Euro trip?

I read earlier that if the overseas game is occurring in the middle of the season, they like for the teams to get a bye week after making the trip, of not possible, they make sure they at least get a home game when they play next.
Teams are still learning how to deal with the European games, Buffalo players were saying how the time difference really messed them up on their recent trip.
If I were making the decisions for the Chiefs, I would leave on Monday after the game, allowing everyone almost a full week to get to prepare for the time difference, and then maybe sit around a day later or two after the game, since they have a bye week afterward.

I actually had this as an L. Chargers just play us well usually. Chiefs are looking salty.
Mahomes is 28-3 against divisional opponents. The last time the chargers beat us, we were -4 in the turnover differential and only lost by a touchdown. Yes, its the NFL and nothing is a given, but this isnt/wasnt the game that worries me

I am not watching anymore Chiefs games until Kelsce and Swift break up. The constant cutting to her and the stupid stats they make up with her name attached.
They cut to her like 3 times. And that's still way better than MNF cutting to random Charger lady about 15 times last week. That lady was also at the game and they went to here at least twice.

I didn't think it was excessive either. Whether or not people like it, she's a massive star and her being at games is going to drive up market segments that the NFL doesn't currently have many inroads in. She's bigger than any individual part of the NFL (player or team). Hell, she might be a bigger name than the NFL itself.

She's not trying to draw attention to herself it appears. Look at some of the celebrities that sit courtside at NBA games.

Sitting at 6 - 1 going in to the run of At Denver, against Miami in Germany, and the Eagles is a dream scenario after the week 1 loss.

Honestly I would be real happy with 1-2 over the next three, but this defense can slow down Miami. The only loss I am fairly sure will happen is at home vs the Eagles. Losses at home under Reid are more likely than losses on the road.

There isn't a scenario in which 2-1 or 3-0 is less likely than 1-2. Miami will be the toughest test of the 3, but if anyone should know how to stop Tyreek Hill its Spags and the Chiefs. The Denver game wont be close, and we should beat the Eagles by 10+

Eagles have a better chance than the Dolphins of beating the Chiefs. Before yesterday’s games, the Dolphins opponents record were a combined 5-24.

I still think we have a very difficult schedule the rest of the way, 5 games on the road, plus a trip to Germany to play Miami, week off then home vs Eagles, away at Raiders and Green Bay, home to the Bills, away to NE, home for the Raiders and Bengals and then finish up the year in LA verses the Chargers.
Let's see how it goes in Denver this week, a team they own.
