NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

@clonedude I know JSB was one of the people ragging on Jeremy on the S.F. game thread were you also? If so you are a much bigger hypocrite because this is the Chiefs thread not the game thread.

You can always start a Bengals thread if it means so much to you.

What are Burrows’ Bengals’ record vs the Chiefs? Or are we only looking at one game when deciding who ‘owns’ someone?
Who ******* cares? We are moving on. Do you realize Baker Mayfield is 3-0 vs Joe Burrow? It means nothing. Patrick Mahomes now has 10 playoff victories which is the same amount the Bengals have in team history.

No, I never have ragged on anyone personally as far as I know. I know I’ve never DM’ed anyone…. don’t even know how.

I have had a lot of disagreements with people on here about everything under the sun, but don’t think I’ve ever attacked anyone on here personally. If I have, I’m truly sorry. I shouldn’t let my emotions get out of control.

Now…. have I ever been personally attacked and called every name in the book…. yes….. a LOT. But whatever. Doesn’t bother me.

I do apologize for that. I was going back and forth between a lot of different threads tonight…. didn’t even realize initially when I posted in this thread that I was in the KC thread…. thought I was in the AFC Championship thread. I will not post in here any longer.

Enjoy your win and your SB. I wish my Packers were going, but they suck balls. Might be headed back to the Lynn Dickey era of Packers football very soon. Depressing.

I have no idea and don't care you whiny cry baby.

Hey, it's a school night. Time for bed!
I'm just checking in on the Chiefs thread.

Chiefs Win! Going to the Super Bowl!!!

And ouch, I know I stay up too late, often, but I didn't know clonedude was going to follow us over here! Did I miss anything? We kind of got into it over on the AFC thread.

Wonder if he'll ever get over his never ending negative vibe?

On ESPN's Get Up here this morning they're spending an entire segment on how "awful" the officiating was last night in this game. The examples of what they think were uncalled penalties on the Chiefs are so weak, and it would have been questionable if they had been called. One being a hold on #57 during Mahomes' run on that last 3rd down play (dude wasn't gonna be able to make a play anyway, the run was going the other way) and then a super-weak block in the back on #47 on the last punt return to set up that drive.

I don't remember ever seeing a segment like this from the media after any of the number of officiating screwings we've seen the Chiefs take.

They're just trying to stir **** up at this point. Were there missed calls at times? Sure, happens every game. We saw Cinci's o-line hold all night long and rarely get called for it. Gimme a break with this ****.

Yeah that was so stupid. Why didn’t they show missed penalties or questionable penalties on Cinci? So dumb.
The redo of the third down the ref was clearly calling the play dead before it was snapped.

@ISUAlum2002 yeah I had a lot of friends barking on social media about the refs too and not shocked that 2 of them were Hawk fans that usually are ref haters during Hawk games too. I don't feel like there were blatently missed or blown calls in that game for either team. The holding thing you could probably find a weak example of holding on every other play most of the time. Its the times where it is so obvious to call when the flags usually happen.

Despite all the excuses people want to make about the refs the Chiefs were a wounded bird with all the injuries they had to key players so the fact people have to blame the refs for Cincy losing doesn't say much about how Cincy played if they refs supposedly still had to "rig" the game in the Chiefs favor.

That show is a total joke. Last week they spent an entire hour arguing about how bad Dak sucks and they'll never win a big game with him, all while not giving the 49ers defense even a little bit of credit.

If I'm Mahomes and Kelce I am low key burning inside thinking about the WR room. Mecole still not healthy after missing months (goodbye this offseason btw), JuJu knee injury (you can walk this offseason too tbh) and Toney hurting his ankle without taking contact (incredible). Four catches combined by the three of them.

Thank God we have two weeks to improve our health.

But this adds to Mahomes greatness. WR 1 MVS, WR 2 Skyy and WR 3 Marcus Kemp. A lot of snaps from Jody Fortson. What a group!

Love the redemption story for the special teams last night as well. Skyy Moore coming through on the return after being demoted after the fumbles and Butker hitting the game winner after some struggles during the season.

Also, what a performance from all the rookies especially the rookie DBs. I mean it probably isn't being talked about enough that the chiefs had 4 rookie DBs in there against Burrows, Chase, and Higgins and really held their own. Sure Chase and Higgins had some unbelievable catches but they aren't going to be shut out and they had two INTs.

Pacheco with some nice catches as well.
