NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Entire special teams unit should get cut today... well likely Amendola probably is regardless, but still.

Can't imagine what Jones said to draw a flag there. Weak call.
Whatever Jones said, if it was bad enough to draw that flag, it should be bad enough to get suspended. If it wasn't bad enough to get suspended, the ref needs to realize situationally how much control of the outcome he is influencing there.

I still think Skyy Moore will be an impact WR at some point. Maybe not this year, late in the year possibly if there are injuries to the WR group and he gets more snaps but the talent is there. He looked like a deer in the headlights on special teams yesterday which isn't going to help get him on the field more either.

Even some of the top rookie WR take a year or 2 to really find their role these days. Look at some of the top WR in this draft, Drake London has been good so far, 16 catches for 214 yards and 2 TD, Garrett Wilson almost identical except for 2 more catches. Chris Olave still has not found the endzone yet 17 catches 268 yards but 9 catches and 147 yards of that came yesterday. Dotson has 3 TD but just 109 yards. Treylon Burks taken 18 overall has just 8 catches for 13 yards. These guys will all have good careers I think but they are going to have their ups and downs their rookie year and have already seen that some through 3 games already. The speed and defenses are just so much better in the NFL it takes a bit of adjustment.

That was a team loss. Special teams cost the team a lot of points then add in Kelce's drop and Jones penalty (even though that was BS, I think the call was in reaction to what happened last week with Brady and the saints).

I think one of the things you have seen this year is that Mahomes isn't quite in sink yet with WRs in the donwnfield passing game. I have seen about 3-4 sure fire TDs where Mahomes overthrew the WR.
Also, Edwards-Helaire sucks running the ball. His vision is turrible.

The offensive line has been the biggest disappointment so far for me. Both tackles have been awful. It's a good thing they didn't pay Brown a long term deal this off season. Mahomes has been having to dodge the rush too much already. Really thought that was going to be a strength this year.

I blame this one on stadium design. The windows with the sun/shade flashing definitely screwed him up.

I hate watching daytime games being played at that stadium when they have the roof open. It creates so many shadows and areas of glare that it's annoying to watch on TV, and I can't imagine the players (for either team) enjoy having to deal with it on the field.

The problem for the Chiefs is we draft to far down in the draft to get a difference maker, so you have to try and get a lower-level rated player that is underrated. They are there, but you have to get lucky and find them.
Huh? Chiefs have been drafting great in recent years.

Not quite sure what's so funny about this post, @JP4CY ......

At first I was okay with trading Tyreek but now I am not. It is so hard to find that ELITE talent and when you have it you have to keep it.
I don't regret getting rid of him. I actually think the offense had some problems last year even with him. We needed a legit receiver on the outside even when Tyreek was there.

You said you hate watching it. So don't watch it then.

Since I answered your question, do you answer all the questions posed to you?
All of the reasonable questions, yes. PM me if you'd like, no need to continue mucking up this thread. I didn't ask you a question anyway.
