NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

I'm a big Chiefs fan. But. I do wish the Chiefs advised Rice to be more concilliatory during his pre-game interview this week. Is that too much to ask? It doesn't seem like he even realizes what he did was very wrong and that he could have killed someone. Life is more than football. Atleast say you were sorry, made a big mistake, was wrong, and very thankful noone was seriously injured. Did we hear any of that? Nope.

Rice is a very good player, especially with Mahomes as his QB, but I don't think he learned anything. And some of the Chiefs posting 'Free 4 Rice' or something like that, this week, also very insensitive to what he did. I enjoyed the win, but I must say I was not a big Chiefs fan today.

Breece isn't doing anything behind an inconsistent line and why pay for him when you can get similar production from 2 backs at a lower price? Pacheco and Hunt look fine. All they need a back for is to set up PA. I'm not sure why anyone pays big $$$ for running backs this day and age. You pay top tier QB's, Tackles, and game changing defensive lineman. Unless Pacheco only wants a small raise Id let him walk this year too
I think the case could be made that all the top tier qbs are paid about 10 million a yr too high, but no one reigns it in so oh well.

It looked like Breece got dinged up today. He slammed his helmet on sideline.

Chiefs announced today that Omarr Norman-Lott will undergo season ending ACL surgery on his right knee, injured during the first half of the game on Sunday.
So it look like they will be looking to pick up some depth on the Dline, as they only have three tackles left on the roster.

At least it looks like Jones is back to his old self.

Maybe. Lots of rest on Sunday with the massive disparity in time of possession. and only needing 23 snaps from Jones. He's looked a little gassed near the end of some games. Those long offensive scoring drives by KC are huge for the defense.

For sure. The offense going 3 and out all the time early was definitely one of the reasons the D didn't looked the best either. I think Spags has made a few schematic adjustments also. I feel like we need our edge rushers like Karlaftis to be able to get more pressure than they have been. I was a little surprised to see he had 3.5 sacks.

Pivotal Kickoff? Guarantee #43 is going to get a ******* penalty to screw over the drive and getting points in tough spots.
