Kansas City BBQ Question

Oklahoma Joe's (and it's not close)

Sometimes a nice sit-down meal is in store and the Crossroads area Jack Stack is the best for this. Like has been said before, they have the best sides. Their cheesy corn bake and cheesy potato bake are wonderful.

Bates City BBQ is also wonderful but it's a little off the beaten path in Bates City, about 20 miles east of KC.

Last night, on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, they highlighted four BBQ places in KC. Smokin Gun looked like the best to me. We go down to KC every year, and I was wondering if anyone had been to Smokin Gun.

I've been to Jack Stack's and really liked it. Especially the corn casserole.

The other three places that were highlighted last night were RJ's, Johnny's, and The Woodyard.

Thanks for all your input. I ended up eating at the original Oklahoma Joe's. It was excellent! I had to buy some of their seasoning and sauce before I left!
