K-State Tickets and Manhattan question

I'll be looking for 3 tickets, driving over from KC. Anybody know if it's ill-advised to buy tickets at the game? Is it like Jack Trice where you can always scalp? I think the last time I went to Manhattan I got to see coach Paul Rhoads lose in spectacular fashion.

Another question: what do you like to do in Manhattan? So far I'll be taking my boys hiking in Flint Hills and then probably looking for a brewery with good food. I'm open to suggestions! If you've not been to Flint Hills it's highly recommended. Konza Prairie https://keep.konza.k-state.edu/visit/

I’m headed over from KC also but already have tix through ISU. I’m trying to find a parking pass but there is nothing on Ticketmaster, there are only like 4 on Stubhub mostly on the wrong side and all $200, and they don’t appear to have a seperate site of their own to sell tickets/parking passes.

I was hoping to find a semi-reasonably priced pass so I didn’t have to park in that sheep pasture….

Well, this was 2006, but I went to Manhattan with a buddy of mine. About an hour from the stadium I turned to him and said "you do have the tickets right?". His reply was "****!".

No big deal, we got practically sidelines tickets for dirt cheap.

I can't remember if it was supposed to be a big-time game or not, but we had zero issue getting tickets at the gate.

Hey! KState fan here to help (as much as I can).

1) I don't believe there is any way to get paved parking pass (on west side). It's all sold out to donors. If you happen to get there early enough (like when the gates open), I believe there IS limited space on the East side parking lot (cash entry). But there's no where to just buy a parking pass in the lots.
2) Do NOT go to what was once known as Little Apple Brewing Company (now called LabCO apparently). I went there a couple years ago and felt like a cafeteria in an old folks home (seriously). Manhattan Brewing Company is my choice down there.
3) Buying tickets in the lot USED to be so easy. It's been a few years since I tried and had a hard time back then. Nowadays with paperless/digital tickets, I don't know how easy it is to get tickets outside the stadium.

Ksu4tc ...where is the best place to park
I've answered this before in other threads. College Avenue has private parking across from the baseball stadium, south of Via Christi Hospital. It's a short walk and $25. Get there before 4:30 PM.

If you have an RV, parking is limited, probably best at the College of Ag and Equine Center as shown on the above map in blue.

Lol well people probably have you on ignore.

In the map, Lot 9 GA is place I was talking about east of the stadium. Fills up FAST.
The Agronomy Lot and Grain Science Center are PAVED lots (north of the stadium).
Those are the places I'd shoot for.

did they pave those to the North in the last few years? I thought last time I was there those we a combination of gravel and sheep pasture. That isn’t a joke or a knock (hey, we are an Ag school too) but I have memories of parking in what had ground evidence of being used to pasture animals.

The last game I went to in Manhattan was the opener in 2020 - I parked due north of the stadium and there are paved lots around a couple of buildings AND some field parking to the east of those lots.

For those into vintage cars, there's a nice museum in Manhattan you may want to visit Saturday.

Do any Cyclones on here know where they will be tailgating for the game down there? I’m bringing the wife and kids, but we have no idea where to try and park. It might be nice to be around some other Cyclones anyways.
