One time our kid came over and sat with us for a few minutes. Yes, we had 5 people with only four bought, but we were pushed into just under 3 seats. We asked the rest to please move down, they complained we had an extra, I pointed out that we were only in 3 of our four which was quite common. After that, we came in early and anchored our four seats and the group sitting in the middle would complain about space. Their own seats weren’t enough apparently.

Like, can you walk up and sit down without showing a ticket to someone? Definitely, it's a total free-for-all. My own seats are in the stands but we have hillside passes and I go in and out all the time.

Repercussions for not having a hillside pass? I haven't been to Trice in years, before the SEZ was bowled in. Back then, I am fairly certain you could come and go as you pleased from the hillsides (or at least I that's what I did). I am asking because my toddler is not going to want to sit in the bleachers for 3 1/2 hours so access to the hillsides would be a nice option to have

There's nobody there enforcing anything. It can get crowded, particularly in earlier season/nicer weather games, but you'll be fine.

You will have no reason to worry at all. You might be at the top though if you don't have a blanket or something to stake you claim to the ground. Nobody gives a ****.
