I didn’t take a picture but when I was at the ASU game it did look like there is a new Jacobson graphic.
Oh, cool! I was at the ND game and recall them still being super washed out.

EDIT: Of course they just used it as more advertising space...

Some updates regarding Cytown from Jamie on the coach's show last night:
The final unveiling of Cytown is coming in an announcement in late October
Everything is scheduled from the developer to be built at once - two-year build timeline
$300 million investment
94 acres, 8 buildings, 575,000 square feet of total building space and an amphitheater
Hotel with 200 rooms
Jamie says fan's will be "awestruck" regarding the final plans
Good synopsis. Plus activity on the McFarland Clinic facility may begin this fall.

Sounds like the developer wants to get the rest of Cytown going as well, including the hotel by Hilton, building it all at once.
Is it actually a Hilton? Nice. I've always been curious how many non-Iowa Staters think Hilton Coliseum is just a sponsorship name.

Not sure lol, I meant it will be physically by Hilton.
Even though can you imagine if it was a Marriott or some other brand and it was named something like "Ames Marriott by Hilton Coliseum". I'm sure it wouldn't happen, but I'd laugh since that's how Hilton brands their "off" brands (Hampton Inn by Hilton)

The north end zone will receive a display measuring approximately 36 feet high by 157 feet wide while the south end zone will receive a display measuring roughly 36 feet high by 79 feet wide. Both will feature 13-millimeter pixel spacing, an improvement in resolution from the previously existing 15-millimeter pixel spacing.

Kind of bummed that the south end zone will be smaller.
Maybe I misunderstood previously, but I thought they had announced originally that both were to be full length? I don't understand why they wouldn't just do both the same. (Yes, I know its cheaper this way, but come on)

That’s good to hear. I’ve been wanting to display my virtue signaling by waving to some sick kids. Hopefully they’ll put a big window by the waiting room.
Ok I'm sorry, I couldn't just leave an emoji to show my appreciation for this comment. Bahahha.

Good, money is money. And it looked terrible the first game. With the updated video board next year the north end zone will look 100x better than it did that game

I thought I remembered similarly but am not certain. I'm not sure if it had even been announced or if it was just in some of the planning documents/drawings that ended up on here

If you stop waving before the time out is over, you will get yelled at.

I usually keep waving for a few plays after they come back just to be safe. I don't need to be shamed with my picture on the internet.

I got into it with a fan at the last game because I always play "who let the dogs out" on my phone while I wave and he kept yelling **** like "sit down" and "put your pants back on." I tried to explain that I am honoring the sick animals and I also spin around in a helicopter motion because we are the Cyclones (duh) and he was babbling **** like "there are kids around here." Finally had to get security involved.

Or if we had a stud power forward named Hampton. Great fodder for the announcers.

Welcome to "Project scale-backs to save money for the players."

Pollard has said repeatedly that they have to find $20M. Trimming on facility spending will be one of the avenues to get there.
