Josh Cunningham

I am hoping that his visit to Ames made his decision harder and now wants to think it over vs committing to Bradley right away. There is hope....maybe....

I know it seems crazy since he was just here but kinda feels like we wouldn't mind Cunninham going elsewhere to go all in with Mckay or hold out for another transfer who is more ready to play immediately. I could be reading the situation wrong though.

By "we" who do you mean? CF poster, fans, or the coaching staff. I kinda doubt the coaching staff is hoping he goes elsewhere when they bring him in on an official. If they don't think they want him then they pull the offer. They aren't going to be like "Well, we aren't really all that interested, but I suppose if he is willing to come here we HAVE to take him." He is a top 100 recruit. I am sure they really want his commitment, as should any fan.

Really hope you are kidding. Fred DEFINITELY wants him.

We can probably take Vaughn, Cunningham and McKay, IMO -and- take another transfer in the spring if the right opportunity presents itself.

We have 3 open scholarships next year (Kane, Ejim, Bubu) with 1 already spoken for (Custer). You can still take RV, JC and McKay for a total of 4, if you have one current player transfer out, and we could easily have 2 leave.

1 outbound transfer is almost guaranteed. 2 is certainly within the realm of possibility.

As long as we get one of McKay or Cunningham, I'm good. McKay helps more in the short term but Cunningham is obviously more of a long term asset. There is definitely room for both.

I'm getting pretty greedy. I'd like to see a class of Custer, Vaughn, Cunningham, and McKay.... Just think of the lineup possibilities :v_SPIN:
