horner definitely comes out worse from this. But his friend doesn't look great either. I guess I don't see the appeal of picking "fights" on twitter. In general it just makes you look like a ******
I guess I expect plenty of high school kids to do dumb things. Seems a lot more odd to me that a head basketball coach of a large high school is firing back at him in the same childish way.
It is kind of funny that as soon as Hoiberg is mentioned his tone changes. Almost like he realized if fred per chance read that and the conversation it would look pretty unprofessional.

Seriously though, this is nothing. Once he figured out it was a student, he classed it up a bit...though as a coach he shouldn't have said what he said in the first place.
And the kid shouldn't have been a Twitter tough guy in the first place. If he had something to say to Jeff, he should've said it to his face.
Golden rule here...if you're gonna talk smack, be tough enough to take it in return. Don't run and tattle.

The more I hear about Twitter the more I think it is a bad idea for everyone. Twitter takes peoples knee-jerk reactions and magnifies them 1000 fold.

This is 100% correct. Have to have a job in the district so VIOLA! study hall monitor. JR Angle, former Hawk and sophomore coach and varsity assistant, is also a study hall monitor at Valley.
Yes, but when they are all of those things at the same time... social media is perfect for them.
