Jaquan Amos Commits!!!

Probably explains why the JUCO safety decomitted.

We didn't offer Jaquan until Jan 29th according to his Twitter so I am guessing the Junior College kid wasn't impacted by this. My guess is when the kid went back to JC for another year we had an opening and offered Jaquan. I think it turned out to be a great trade. Saw one story that he can play some corner as well.

Big pickup. Good work Campbell staff!!! Anybody know how many years eligibility he has? I get that they say he is a grad transfer, and in the large majority of normal cases, that means he only has one year. However, what the crap does a grad-transfer mean in a COVID year like this past one where it doesn't count?

Looks to me like they went looking for a replacement as soon as Langston decided to go back to JUCO for the spring. I wonder if Langston had some grades issues and didn't graduate in December like he was planning. With the JUCO season being in the spring, he could play, graduate and still end up at a FBS school in the fall.

So plug and play at White's spot?

Id assume at the very least insurance if the younger players don't develop. If he truly received a 7th round draft grade though you'd think he'd be in a good spot to win that job. Hopefully we will hear more insider info in regards to expectations and what kind of player he is.

I'm living in some bizarro world where the Iowa State football team is picking up NFL talent with grad transfers

While the basketball coach has already been replaced on CF...

Football School

is this kid really nfl talent???? Tough to tell from my standpoint watching that highlight video posted above. Their team didn’t play anyone with a pulse. Obviously there were some good teams after him though.

Per an above comment, he says he received a round 7 grade.

Sounds promising!

Does he have a star recruit ranking listed anywhere?
