I think central and eastern Kansas may be the only places this storm should be considered a bust so to speak. The forecast day of in Wichita got pushed up to around an inch of ice and I believe they only got a quarter inch or so. I do think meteorologists could help themselves by going on and not necessarily admitting we got it wrong but explaining what changed that affected the outcome. The issue is they only have so much time on air but there is this newfangled thing called social media.
