Pretty quick kid for his size. Has ran a 22.52 200 this year. For comparison, Jake Knotts junior year best was 23.76

I was talking to an OU fan yesterday about how fast recruiting has turned around and he couldn't believe it. Paul Rhoads had like 1 recruit commit before September last year right? And now this is 9(?) before May??

It's unbelievable how much better at just about everything this staff is than Paul's. I understand they haven't won any games yet, but Paul's barely did anyway.

2017 recruiting rankings:

Iowa State is #5 in the Big 12. 22 spots ahead of #6.

One spot out of #4, four spots from #3, and six spots out of being #2 in the conference.

We get Kam White we could jump a couple spots

Using the 247 class calculator you can see what the score would be. If Kam White committed right now, ISU's score would go up to 121.05.

That would immediately bump Iowa State to #18 in the nation and #2 in the Big 12

Why compare to Rhoads? That's over. Besides, comparing a first year recruiting job to a year when pretty much everybody and their brother knew the staff was heading out the door seems like it might be expected to have vastly different result.

I really love the way this staff targets the guys they want and work at it to get the commit. I bet it is hard to say no to them when they put the full court press on.

This is insanity. Don't know how to put it but this staff is making it look easy? They may have to raise the bar soon and challenge themselves. Maybe try to start flipping the top 100 recruits so someone actually has to say no

I can't get excited for the ranking because so much is based on sheer numbers. The ranking is completely overplayed at the moment.

That said, I CAN get excited about the quality of players that are committing and that they ARE first targets. Man, if we can somehow get to a bowl game this season...

I also agree that comparing to CPR is already old. Turn the page people.

OK, Debbie Downer. ISU football fans have had so much to celebrate the last few years! Enjoy the ranking while it lasts as hopefully a taste of what's to come: prolonged success.
