I guess I'm oldschool then. When I grew up, shorts were actually shorts, they weren't potato sacks. The "baggy" look was coming in when I was high school, so much so that the basketball uniform I wore my sophomore year were the oldschool "John Stockton" shorts. The shorts on my varsity uniform the next year were all the way to my knees.

Personally, I hate the baggy look and spend extra time online looking for shorts with 5" or 6" inseams. Most shorts these days are 10" or 11" by default.
Shorts should have at least a 12" inseam unless they are running shorts.

You looked it up and copy and pasted. You win nothing.

But, was that the year Bird walked into the locker room and said, "I just wanted to see which one of you mother******s is gonna finish up second?"

You're probably going with Orange socks too then? Might want to adjust the saturation level on your monitor. You might have it a little hot.
On my phone socks look red. Originals were similar colors to the Stripes so gold would make more sense. I am just saying its hard to tell with the lighting/shade.

For the love of Paul Rhoads, I hope you're being facetious. Anything longer than 9" could be called a pair of "longs." There is nothing manly about wearing a pair of capris. If you're taller than 6'2", then maybe the 12 inch rule applies. Shorts that break below the knee are uncomfortable, and I think they make the wearer look like a little boy. I respect your preference, but I can't agree that 12" shorts are best for the majority of people.

I think 12" is fairly standard nowadays. If 1' reaches halfway down your calf, then you are short. Granted, I'm 6'2", so I tend to think I'm a standard height.

I consider you tall :spinny: I guess for body types it depends. I just get frustrated when I see guys my height wearing shorts that make them look like a munchkin or a hoodrat.

I will give someone a rep and respect to name each of those players, and why they were photographed together. And no you can say that they were all future coaches/front office personal even though that is ironic.

Id be more impressed if someone found out who was sportin' the uni in the ISU video

and because the throw back uniforms are such a hit they will be worn for every game in 2014 in Jack Trice Stadium that now has the SEZ bowled in as the Cyclones race to their first 14-0 season and win the national championship.

It really must be about time for football season to begin. Fans' minds everywhere are turning to mush as their emotions run wild while thinking about all the glorious what ifs for their team. No, I am not picking on just Clone fans. Visit a bunch of boards and you will find unbridled optimism the rule.

You must be "That Guy" at my gym. I get the short shorts for running, no problem, but they should mostly be illegal to wear for basic exerciese. Especially on a recumbent exercise bike. Guy gets on there and it's a ******* disaster, like watching a game of Gnip Gnop (look it up). It's not entirely his fault, the Gym could do everyone a huge favor by pointing the bikes to the wall instead of in at the rest of the gym.

You, Sir, are decidedly old school. If your shorts aren't at mid knee then they are close to being too short.

Fight the power and keep 'em short like Dr.J, Larry, and Magic
