Thought I read somewhere that it was central campus + what ended up being the surrounding buildings. But I may be wrong there

anyone know the schedule they are doing this? are they hiding them with clues in each county or just setting it there for whoever finds it?

Haven't heard much buzz about this. Is it only on social media?

Just FB and twitter. We got close in Jones Cty, daughter was at the park, but got beat by 30 seconds. You basically have to guess where it is going to be in advance to have any chance at all.

In Johnson Cty it was at the fabulous, historic, and picturesque location of:
the parking lot of HyVee on the Coraville strip.

It seems like they would be making a bigger deal about this in some of the other more traditional local media. For instance, I have no idea if they have done any of the counties near Ames or not. The Pokeman Go craze is perpetuated by tons of attention in the traditional media.

It's already pretty hard to get to the prize and there's already 10-20 people at each site. If you advertised it a lot more I think it would get too many people there.

I think the clues should start out a little harder. Rather than post a picture everyone recognized (Polk county was a parking lot with the capital in the background) start hard and make it so people can't find it in 5 minutes.

If anyone is interested here are the counties that remain. I would assume they'll end in Story county. Van Buren, Butler, Clay, Buchanan and Clinton are scheduled in the next 5 days.
