I thought she should have won the MVP award for the game - leading scorer 23 points with 8 of 10 shooting.Bridget with 23 in the win! 6-8 from 3. Killer!

I thought it was really great when the floor announcer asked Napheesa about the award and she turned to Bridget and said she should have won it. Bridget just gave her that great smile we always loved and just didn't take the award from her.I thought she should have won the MVP award for the game - leading scorer 23 points with 8 of 10 shooting.
What?GF is a Fever fanatic, so I have been forced into watching them . I will pay more attention to the Lynx , now that Bridget and her team are on a roll.
Question: NBA plays 48 minute games and allows 6 fouls - this is equivalent to NCCABB allowing 5 fouls in 40 minutes. WNBA allows 6 fouls in 40 minutes. Why 6 fouls? Why 40 minutes? My guess is because of the 12 person roster limit? Expanding the team rosters is not feasible since WNBA is losing money. Another consideration is that the officiating is not as accurate in the WNBA, so a bad call doesn't hurt if you are allowed 6 fouls. IMHO, I think the amount of fouling slows the game, and contributes to the bullying image. It might be helpful to implement a 5 foul limit.
Kinda spaced out the that the Lynx win the other night over the Liberty was the Commissioners Cup where the top teams at mid-season play each other. Lot's of money on the line.
"The total compensation tops out at $500,000, with the winning team making around $30,000 per player and the game's MVP taking home an additional $5,000. On the losing team's side, players earn $10,000 each."
So $30k bonus for Bridget Carleton.
