The Iowa State women's basketball team (17-11, 8-9 Big 12) returns home to Hilton Coliseum to close out the regular season with Oklahoma State (16-12, 6-11 Big 12) on Monday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. Monday's game will also serve as Senior Night as Iowa State honors Seanna Johnson, Heather Bowe, Lexi Albrecht and Jordan Jensen. Iowa State is 17-4 all-time on Senior Night under head coach Bill Fennelly.

Who: Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State
Where: Hilton Coliseum - Ames, Iowa
When: Monday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.
Projected Starting Lineup: Seanna Johnson, Jadda Buckley, Meredith Burkhall, Bridget Carleton and Emily Durr
Radio: Cyclone Radio Network/Learfield
Talent: Rich Fellingham (PxP); Lyndsey Fennelly (color)
TV: Cyclones.tv

Oh, yeah - there's a game also. What with Senior Night when we say thank you, and a projected NCAA seed I almost forgot we've got one more game to make it all happen. A win locks up .500 in conference, a top half finish, 18 wins and the NCAA (likely). As CBF says - "FINISH."

When we last played - at OSU late last year, Jensen got 28 points and 11 rebounds in 26 minutes of play.
Kaylee Jensen 6'4" Jr. (from Nebraska - how did she get away, maybe a family thing) enters the contest as the league's leading scorer with 18.5 points per game and its top rebounder at 10.6 boards per outing. Jensen's 15 double-doubles are tops in the Big 12. The Cowgirls were 13-19 from the line and the Cyclones were 3-4. The final score was 71-59. Limit Jensen and get closer to our share of 80 pts. and we can lock this up.

Go State!!

Loved Seanna on the interview.... told her teammates, you all better win for me....

Doesn't CBF usually start his seniors on senior night? Although two of them won't play long.

I wonder if the senior speeches are taped and shown on the overhead screens like last year, or are spoken "live" on the court. I can see both sides; the live speeches are more authentic, but can ramble on...

They've done that for two years now, no? I remember that Nikki, Fallon, and Brynn's were taped, or am I not remembering correctly.

I fear this game I guess as I do all games. We seem to have constant trouble with Ok. St, However, the setup is in ISU favor. We need this one.

Our Seniors...
Seanna,1500 points/1000 rebounds, one of our all time greats.
Heather, what a great addition. Too bad we only got one year with her.
Lexi and Jordan, never played much but their enthusiasm on the bench, always cheering their teammates on were a joy to watch.

State has been able to drive to the basket repeatedly, have to see if OSU changes anything.

Too many sloppy passes tonight. We also miss having Bridget on the floor.

Still up 31-19

33-22 at the half - rough last couple of minutes. Defense is working - Jensen has 6 pts and 5 boards - Seanna has 10 and 9. Almost double-double at the half. We're going to miss her.

Bad shooting by both teams (30%/24%)

Bridget needs to pull her head out on these first half fouls, it really hurts the team, and they're not smart. When she sits we lose a lot of offense. Stark just doesn't look to score, And I don't know what Camber is doing.

Wow, is it me, or did we miss a lot of bunnies? I feel like we should be up 20.

Durr should have kept driving on Wheeler to get her third. I don't think she can lay off.
